William Elliott Whitmore / covering Bill Wither’s / Ain’t No Sunshine

I’ve seen Will Whitmore play live probably close to 20 times at this point in my life, and this was the first time I’ve seen him play this song…it was a real treat!  I know he’s played it other places though, as I have some bootlegs…it is a song that’s been covered by literally hundreds of artists.

Blue Moose Lounge in Iowa City is a really cool place too, I’ll definitely be back there.  Seeing Will play with Jenny Hoyston was like a dream come true…they played the entire Hallways of Always ep, with two separate sets of their own.

I’m typing this with one hand because I’m feeding a baby with the other…also listening to my new Fever Ray lp, which was a nice surprise on my afternoon trip to ZZZ.
